Day 3 of the Happy Habitat Project: The Futon

Another office project. We’ve had this futon for ages.

Before:

Bits of trash, old homework, appliance parts, Christmas cards, tools, medicine, coins, and lots and lots of fur (the boys like to hang out here while G and I are on our computers).

After:

Stuff tossed that ought to have been tossed long ago, and the rest stored in the proper place. The worst of the furballs disposed of.

Still one giant furball taking up space underneath it all, though.

Still to do:

1. Repair the frame (you can see in the last photo where some metal bits are coming off and I don’t even know how to start repairing that)

2. Vacuum underneath the futon

3. Wash the cushion covers… I don’t think they’ve been laundered since we got the thing (oops)
